Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the oceanworking.com website and how you can manage them.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website exchanges with your device (usually via the browser) and that is used to store information useful for browsing or for the other purposes described below. When you visit the same site again, the device checks for a recognised cookie in order to read the information it contains.

While browsing you may also receive on your device cookies sent by different sites or servers (so-called «third parties»), linked to elements such as images, maps, videos or social content present on the page you are visiting.

Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only for the duration of the visit and expire when the browser is closed; others (persistent cookies) remain on the device for a longer period.

Which cookies we use

To protect your privacy, we have designed the site so that no unnecessary cookies are installed without your consent. During normal browsing the site uses only first-party technical cookies, essential for its operation (for example, to remember the chosen language or to handle form security). For these cookies, pursuant to Art. 22 of the Spanish LSSI-CE law and the AEPD guidelines, no consent is required.

The site does not use profiling cookies or statistical analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).

Fonts are hosted directly on our servers, so displaying them does not involve any data being shared with third parties.

Some third-party content — maps (Google Maps), reviews widget (Elfsight), videos (YouTube), bookings (Setmore) and any social content within articles — may install cookies. For this reason they are loaded only after your consent, given through the cookie banner or the button on the content itself. Until you consent, no third-party cookie is installed.

How long we keep cookies

Technical cookies last only for the session or, in any case, no longer than necessary for the purposes for which they are installed. Any cookies installed by third-party services, after your consent, are governed by their respective policies and generally do not exceed 180 days.

How to give or withdraw consent

Consent to third-party cookies is given through an active action: the «Accept» button in the cookie banner or the button on the content itself (map, reviews, etc.). You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the «Manage cookies» link in the site footer, or by deleting the cookies from your browser.

Managing cookies from your browser

You can disable or delete all cookies, first-party and third-party, through your browser settings. However, disabling technical cookies may affect some features of the site. Below are the instructions for the most common browsers:
