Carved into the rock of the Barranco de Guayadeque, Tagoror is one of those places that stay with you. You eat inside a natural cave, in a landscape once home to the ancient Canarians, with living stone for ceiling and walls.

The food
The menu is inland Canarian cooking, honest and substantial. The signature dish is the roast suckling pig: golden and crisp outside, meltingly tender inside.
Good to know · The Barranco de Guayadeque itself deserves a walk before lunch or dinner: it is one of the island’s most singular corners for hiking.
